- Sample and contact requests — details you submit through our forms, including fabric preferences, quantities, and any message you write.
- Appointment information — when you book a consultation, your name, email, and selected time slot.
- Uploaded files — artwork or reference images you attach to a project or custom color request.
- Automatically collected information — your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected through Google Analytics only after you accept our cookie banner (see Cookies and Local Storage below).
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to sample requests, inquiries, and consultation bookings
- To maintain your Design Studio account and project history
- To send you information about your order, project, or account status
- To improve our fabric catalogue and website experience

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third-Party Services We Use
To operate this site, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers, each of which processes a limited slice of your data on our behalf:
- Supabase — stores your account and sample request data, and handles account login.
- Netlify — hosts this website and processes contact/sample form submissions.
- Resend — delivers transactional emails (inquiry notifications, account confirmations).
- Calendly — powers our consultation booking calendar.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf.
International Transfers
VD Textile Studio is headquartered in California, USA. Our fabrics are produced and shipped from our own mills in Bursa and Istanbul, Turkey, so when you place a sample or bulk order, we share the necessary order details (such as your name, company, contact information, and the fabric and quantity requested) with our production team in Turkey solely to prepare and fulfill your order. By submitting an order, you consent to this transfer.
Cookies and Local Storage
Our login system uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in between visits. Our booking calendar (Calendly) may set its own cookies when embedded on our appointments page; see Calendly's own cookie notice for details.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site (pages viewed, general location, device type). This sets analytics cookies, but only after you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit — if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. We do not use advertising or ad-retargeting cookies.
Data Retention
We retain account and request information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to respond to your inquiry. You may request deletion at any time (see below).
